• Coaxial cables, commonly referred to as coax cables, are a type of electrical cable with a cylindrical inner conductor  surrounded by an insulating layer, a metallic shield, and an outer insulating layer. They are widely used for transmitting      high-frequency electrical signals, such as those for television, internet, and radio communications.
• Here is a brief description of the components and features of coaxial cables:
• Inner Conductor: This is a central conductor made of solid or stranded copper or aluminum wire.  It carries the electrical signal.
• Insulating Layer: Surrounding the inner conductor is a layer of insulating material, such as polyethylene (PE) or  polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). It prevents the inner conductor from coming into contact with the shield.
• Metallic Shield: The insulating layer is enclosed by a metallic shield, typically made of aluminum or copper foil or a braided  wire mesh. The shield protects the inner conductor from external electromagnetic interference and reduces signal leakage.
• Outer Sheathing Layer: Finally, the metallic shield is covered by an outer Sheathing layer, which provides mechanical  protection and insulation. It is usually made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) or PE.
